For Gina..

Okay, so I have this best friend and we have been friends for a looooong time. We have been friends since kindergarten! That is almost 35 yrs. We were discussing blogs the other day and I know her opinion of them, so I thought I would post one just for her. :) I love her to death and she is almost like a sister. But honestly, I know blogs are mostly for young people with young kids.... but we will see. Sometimes this old lady might have something fun to post about. Besides, my kids rock at their sports they do and I ought to give them some credit somewhere since I haven't scrapbooked in years! Here's to you Gina, I love ya!

Tumbling Ace

Okay, so I think this is the reason for the blog ;) -- Yesterday Abby had a tumbling meet in Ogden. It was her first meet of the season and she was really nervous. I was a little nervous too, because I didn't know for sure how she was doing in each event. She does three events: Trampoline, double mini-tramp, and floor. Well..... She did AWESOME! She got 2nd place on double mini, 2nd place on trampoline and 1st place on floor! WOW! I was so happy, but not as happy as she must have been. She works really hard, she goes to tumbling 2 or 3 nights a week for 2 1/2 hours each night. There were 6 to 8 girls competing in each event. Anyway, it was a great day for her and I was super proud.

Our family

Our family lives in Logan. We currently have two children living at home: Tanton-17, he loves hockey and working at the movie theatre, and Abby-10, she is our tumbler. She also loves to play the piano and babysit. Then there is Greg, he has been home from his mission for just over a year, he is attending USU. Krista is married to Doug, they live in Hyde Park and have two little boys; Trey and Krew. Tim is married to Melissa, they live in N. Carolina. They also have two little ones; Dylan and Sophie. And so as blogging goes, this is our story....
