We are into play-offs for hockey. Tanton has been the varsity goalie for the past two years for Sky View Hockey (Sophomore & Junior years). In regular season play the team went 11 wins, 1 loss and 4 ties! Pretty darn good! So far in the play-offs they are 4 wins and 1 loss. It's pretty tough having YOUR kid be the goalie -- if they win it's all good and hurray! - but if they lose you kind of feel a lot of pressure for the poor guy. The good news is that Tanton absolutely rocks at goalie, so for the most part the feelings are great! Although, I have to admit there have been a few times that I think I have almost had a heart attack my heart was so fluttery. Last Friday night we had a game in Salt Lake -- I really thought that we would win, but we lost (3-4), which meant we had to play the same team again Saturday morning (in Salt Lake) at 7 am! Great News! We won 7-1. Now Sky View is in the final four teams of the Northern Division. This week we play a Round Robin Tournament starting tonight. Tonight we play Viewmont @ Bountiful at 9:45 pm (yes PM), Thursday we play Fremont @ Bountiful at 8:15 pm, then Friday we play East In West Valley @ 6:00 pm. So, it sounds like we are going to be very busy traveling, and very tired.... but worth it I am sure. :) Good Luck Tanton, Good Luck Sky View --- Go BOBCATS!!
